Dorie Millerson is a Toronto-based artist. Her award-winning artwork is exhibited internationally. Articles about her work have appeared in Sculpture, Fiberarts and Surface Design Journal and her writing about craft practice has been published in Studio, Surfacing Journal, MAGazine and the book Crafting New Traditions: Canadian Innovators and Influences. She holds an MFA in textiles from NSCAD University and is an honours graduate in fibre from the Ontario College of Art & Design. She is an associate professor in textiles and former chair of the Material Art & Design Program at OCAD University.
